About Natalie Sanders
Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here. Around the Corner Counseling is a supportive space for navigating life’s challenges, whether it’s stress, trauma, relationship struggles, or mood disorders like bipolar or borderline personality.
As a therapist and a first responder’s wife, I understand the unique pressures life can bring, and I’m here to walk alongside you. This is a place to be heard, feel understood, and take the next step forward.
I received my bachelor's in Human Development from Oklahoma State University in 2015 and my master's in social work from the University of Oklahoma in 2021. I obtained my LCSW after five years of training in January of 2025.
I have certifications and/or trainings in Perinatal Mental Health, Prolonged Exposure, Trauma Informed Care, and I am DBT-informed.
Currently, I am working on my EMDR and CPT certifications, as well as an IFS (Internal Family Systems) certification.
I take a trauma-informed, flexible approach to therapy, meeting you where you are and walking alongside you as you figure out what’s next. I pull from tools like DBT for managing emotions, CBT for shifting tricky thought patterns, solution-focused strategies for identifying practical steps forward, talk therapy for processing life as it comes, and mindfulness and attachment-based approaches to help you feel grounded and understood.
With my social work background, I also help connect you with resources outside of therapy when needed. Every session is collaborative. My goal is to help you feel heard, supported, and equipped with tools that actually fit your life. Therapy with me isn’t about quick fixes; it’s about small, meaningful steps toward clarity, growth, and finding peace. All of this is “Around The Corner.”
