First Responders Therapy

What You Came Here Looking For:

First responders are trained to handle what most people never have to face. Over time, the calls, the pressure, and the expectation to keep going can build in ways that are hard to explain or even recognize at first.

You might notice changes in your sleep, mood, relationships, or the way you respond to stress.

I provide telehealth therapy across Oklahoma for first responders as well as in person appointments who are carrying the cumulative weight of the job. This is a space where you don’t have to filter your experiences.

Do any of these sound familiar?

• Feeling more on edge, irritable, or shut down

• Difficulty sleeping or turning your mind off

• Increased stress at home or in relationships

• Emotional numbness or feeling disconnected

• Replaying calls or situations long after they’re over

Even if you’ve been managing for a long time, that doesn’t mean you have to keep carrying it alone.

Can Therapy Really Benefit Me?

Therapy focuses on helping you process what you’ve experienced without overwhelming you. We work at a pace that feels manageable, building awareness of patterns, reducing reactivity, and creating ways to feel more grounded both on and off the job.

I also incorporate EMDR therapy to help reduce the intensity of specific memories and experiences when appropriate.

What You Can Expect

This space is straightforward, respectful, and grounded. You won’t be pushed to share more than you’re ready for, and you don’t have to explain things in a way that makes sense to someone outside of your world.

Logistics

All sessions have the option to be via telehealth for first responders located anywhere in Oklahoma or in person for first responders located near the Shawnee area (including Tecumseh, Bethel Acres, Seminole, Norman, and Del City/Midwest City)
